Ice Hockey
Grab your team and your hockey gear for the Ice Hockey event during the inaugural 2022 Winter Games in Marquette! This Olympic-style event aims to have teams from across the Midwest and will also include an Opening Ceremony. ELIGIBILITY
Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin*, and Canadian athletes are welcome to participate at the Marquette Winter Games.
*If you are a Wisconsin athlete looking to compete in hockey, figure skating, cross country skiing, or ski jumping, please email Julie at jshields@stategamesofmichigan.com prior to registering to get permission from the Badger State Games to participate.

There will be a max of 8 teams per division. These teams must be house teams.
Squirt (10 & under) - $750
Peewee (12 & under) - $850 (CANCELLED)
Bantam (14 & under) - $950 (CANCELLED)

3 game guarantee

SLED HOCKEY U.P.
Scrimmage/Demo - Saturday, February 26th at 12:30 PM
There will be a small-sided scrimmage/demo on Saturday with the Sled Cats, the U.P.’s sled hockey team! Come check out their amazing talent and learn more about their organization to see ways you can get involved.

Join us as we officially kick off the inaugural Winter Games in Marquette on Friday, February 25 at the Marquette Mountain Resort.
All athletes are welcome to attend and join the athlete parade. Opening Ceremony in Marquette is sponsored by Northern Michigan University.

STATE GAMES OF AMERICA
This event is a qualifying event for the 2022 State Games of America. Any team who places 1st or 2nd has the opportunity to compete in the 2022 State Games of America hosted in Ames/Des Moines, IA.
