Grab your sled and get ready to race down Lucy Hill during the inaugural 2022 Winter Games in Marquette! Lucy Hill is the only full-length natural luge track in the United States! This Olympic-style event aims to have teams from across the Midwest and will also include an Opening Ceremony. Check out the information below for Luge, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Canadian athletes are welcome to participate at the Marquette Winter Games.

EVENT DETAILS
Participants receive 3-4 practice runs followed by 2 runs for time
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three in each division and gender.
Medals will be mailed out to participants following the last Sunday runs
Wear warm clothing, but nothing extremely bulky
Bring warm clothing to wear between runs/while resting!
All equipment, including shoes, will be provided
You may bring your own helmet if it has ear coverings
Pre-registration is encouraged but not required!
Participants may show up anytime in the open hours to do the course; no exact time is necessary (an estimated time will be asked in registration though to help our director plan and is appreciated)
This track is the only natural luge track in North America - be sure to have fun and enjoy the experience!

OPENING CEREMONY
Join us as we officially kick off the inaugural Winter Games in Marquette on Friday, February 25 at the Marquette Mountain Resort.
All athletes are welcome to attend and join the athlete parade. Opening Ceremony in Marquette is sponsored by Northern Michigan University.
