Get ready to hit the slopes at Marquette Mountain for our Ski and Snowboard event during the inaugural 2022 Winter Games! This Olympic-style event welcomes athletes from across the Midwest and will also include an Opening Ceremony. Check out the information below for Ski and Snowboard, and we look forward to seeing you there!

ELIGIBILITY

Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Canadian athletes are welcome to participate at the Marquette Winter Games.

SCHEDULE

Friday, February 25th:

5:30 - 6:45 PM: Onsite Registration for Rail Jam
8:00PM - Rail Jam (following the end of Opening Ceremony)

Saturday, February 26th:

8:00 AM - Onsite Registration Opens
9:00 AM - Lift Opens
9:15 AM - Onsite Registration Closes for Slalom
9:30 AM - Course opens for inspection
10:00 AM - Slalom
1:30 PM - Onsite Registration Closes for Boarder-Cross/Ski
2:00 PM - Boarder-Cross/Ski
6:30 PM - Onsite Registration Closes for Slopestyle
7:00 PM - Slopestyle

Sunday, February 27th:

8:00 AM - Onsite Registration Opens
9:00 AM - Lift Opens
9:15 AM - Onsite Registration Closes for Giant Slalom
9:30 AM - Course opens for inspection
10:00 AM - Giant Slalom

NOTE: Course will be slipped, re-dressed and/or re-set after run one. Course will then immediately be open for inspection. 30-minute inspection time followed by Run 2 start. (announcements will be made over the loudspeaker with time specifics).

AGE DIVISIONS

12 & Under, 13 - 16, 17 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+

Age determination date is day of the event

LIFT TICKETS

Participants must purchase a lift ticket for Marquette Mountain to compete. Tickets can be purchased here, or be purchased onsite.

Lift Prices:

Junior (6-12): $42
Adult (13-64): $58
Senior (65-79): $51
NMU Student/Staff: $45

FORMAT

Rail Jam - As many runs as you can complete in 30 minutes

Slopestyle - 2 runs per rider

Slalom / Giant Slalom / Boarder-Cross / Ski - Timed event; bibs will be assigned

AWARDS

Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each division.

Join us as we officially kick off the inaugural Winter Games in Marquette on Friday, February 25 at the Marquette Mountain Resort.
