Officials with the Meijer State Games of Michigan revealed the 2022 Athletes of the Year as well as the 2022 Volunteer of the Year presented by Lake Michigan Credit Union. Officials with the Michigan Sports Alliance announced that a 3-year partnership with NovaCare Rehabilitation was organized to aid with the Meijer State Games of Michigan medical coverage. Anyone is eligible to participate in the inaugural Virtual Games. The sporting events featured are running, cycling, BMX, fishing, golfing, rowing, skateboarding, and tae kwon do.
