of Entering Competitions of this Scale
Marquette, Mich. – January 17, 2023 – Eagle Mine is the proud sponsor of the Meijer State Games of Michigan Adopt an Athlete program for the second year in a row. The 2023 Winter Games in Marquette will take place on February 10th-12th.
The Meijer State Games of Michigan Adopt an Athlete program, established in 2015, invites anyone to complete an application to have all or part of their registration covered. The Meijer State Games of Michigan (MSGOM) came to Marquette in 2022. Athletes of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to compete in this Olympic-style program. Events like bowling, cross country skiing, curling, figure skating, luge, ski and snowboarding, snowshoe, and wrestling give athletes from Michigan and the surrounding states a chance to show off their skills on a grand stage.

At the upcoming Winter Games in Marquette, MI on February 10th-12th, 2023, the Meijer State Games of Michigan has partnered with SAIL, Disability Network of the Upper Peninsula as well as with Special Olympics Michigan to identify those individuals and families that could benefit from an Adopt An Athlete program scholarship.
