REGISTRATION
All players must register for this event individually.
Following registration, all players must go through Tournament Software, linked here, to add your information so draws and seeding can be created. This step is mandatory.
FORMAT & DETAILS
Age determination date is March 5th, 2022.
All ages are welcome.
All events with 8 or more entries will be ABCD drop flight (participants are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches). All others will be round robin.
All ABCD draws are capped at 48 entries on a first come first serve basis.
Shuttles are not provided. Players must provide their own feathered shuttles for their matches. Opponents are expected to alternate providing shuttles for play.
All matches will follow BWF rules with rally point scoring, best of 3 games to 21 points.
Umpires are NOT provided. Line judges may be provided upon request at the discretion of the tournament director.
Warmup prior to each match is limited to no more than 5 minutes after the match is called. Any player/team not on court and ready to play after 7 min of their match being called will be disqualified. No exceptions!
Although we will make every attempt possible to find partners for those requesting one, we cannot guarantee a partner in a doubles event, however we will refund any entry we can’t accommodate.
All scheduling efforts will be made to accommodate those participating in multiple events.
Tournament Software will be used for match scheduling throughout the event. However, it is the participant’s responsibility to consult with the tournament staff if they need to leave the gym for any reason. Participants who leave the facility without permission from the event staff and miss their matches will be defaulted.
Cash prizes may be awarded to tier A teams depending on number of entries.
AWARDS
Gold and silver medals will be awarded for each division.

STATE GAMES OF AMERICA
This event is a qualifying event for the 2022 State Games of America. Any athletes who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd has the opportunity to compete in the 2022 State Games of America hosted in Ames/Des Moines, IA.
