Snowshoeing
Explore all a Michigan winter has to offer with the 2025 Winter Virtual Games Snowshoeing event! Registrants will receive a Meijer State Games of Michigan Winter Games gold medal and a shirt. Track your time using your favorite running app or device and snowshoe your preferred distance. Once you are done, come back and submit your time and photos to let us know you’ve finished!

Starting December 15, snowshoe 1 mile, 5K, or 10K. Be sure to follow all rules of the trail!

OPENING CEREMONY
Join us as we officially kick off the Winter Games in Marquette on Friday, February 9 at the Marquette Mountain Resort.
All athletes are welcome to attend and join the athlete parade. Opening Ceremony in Marquette is sponsored by Northern Michigan University.
