Sharpen up your skates and get ready for the Figure Skating event during the inaugural 2022 Winter Games in Marquette! This Olympic-style event welcomes athletes from across the Midwest and will also include an Opening Ceremony. ELIGIBILITY
Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin*, and Canadian athletes are welcome to participate at the Marquette Winter Games.
*If you are a Wisconsin athlete looking to compete in hockey, figure skating, cross country skiing, or ski jumping, please email Julie at jshields@stategamesofmichigan.com prior to registering to get permission from the Badger State Games to participate.
EVENT INFORMATION
This event will be held in conjunction with the Ron Carlson Marquette International Open.
Registration closes 2/6/22
Masks are required for all spectators and athletes per USFS guidelines. See the announcement for further details and clarification.
AWARDS
Meijer State Games of Michigan gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for the top three placements. Ribbons will be given to all other placements.

OPENING CEREMONY
Join us as we officially kick off the inaugural Winter Games in Marquette on Friday, February 25 at the Marquette Mountain Resort.
All athletes are welcome to attend and join the athlete parade. Opening Ceremony in Marquette is sponsored by Northern Michigan University.

STATE GAMES OF AMERICA
This event is a qualifying event for the 2022 State Games of America. Any athletes who places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd has the opportunity to compete in the 2022 State Games of America hosted in Ames/Des Moines, IA.
