As people anticipate the fanfare of the 2024 Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony, a local Olympic-style celebration will take place this summer right in West Michigan - the Opening Ceremony for the 2024 Meijer State Games of Michigan - Summer Games. This free event open to the public takes place at the Meijer Sports Complex (3300 10 Mile Road NE, Rockford 49341) June 21 at 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Officials with the Meijer State Games of Michigan announced NovaCare Rehabilitation as the exclusive and official provider of sports medicine for the upcoming Grand Rapids area-based Summer Games sporting events. The Meijer State Games of Michigan and NovaCare are entering the second year of a three-year deal.

The Opening Ceremony for the 2024 Meijer State Games of Michigan – Winter Games is just over two weeks away.
