Michigan winters with early sunsets make the days feel shorter, but the season longer. It is because of this and the short days that 20-40% of Michigan residents experience Seasonal Affective Disorder, also known as SAD. The Meijer State Games of Michigan wants everyone to participate in healthy living by focusing on mental health as we come out of these winter months. We are going to start by setting four achievable and measurable goals for the month.

MEIJER STATE GAMES OF MICHIGAN SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Officials with the Michigan Sports Alliance announced that they are now taking applications for summer internship positions. These internships offer hands-on experience working with a close team in the office. All levels of degree-seeking college students are encouraged to apply. The current deadline to apply is March 31st but may be extended if the position is not filled.
Winter Games Recap
To celebrate participation and sportsmanship, the Meijer Winter State Games of Michigan is going to review what the winter games are, where they were hosted, and the highlights. They started in January and ended in March. 20 events were held at 22 venue locations from the snowy slopes in Marquette, to high school gyms in Grand Rapids.
