MEIJER STATE GAMES OF MICHIGAN ANNOUNCES
HOCKEY TRYOUT DETAILS FOR DISTRICT 8
Grand Rapids, Mich., April 12, 2023 — The Meijer State Games of Michigan 2023 Summer Games hockey tryout registration is open for District 8. Tryouts begin this weekend in District 8 on Sunday April 16 with the 15U division. Tryouts will continue to take place in District 8 the following weekend, April 22, with the remaining divisions: 11U, 13U, 18U, and Girls. The tournament will take place June 22-25 in various venues in the Greater Grand Rapids area. All divisions will host tryouts and teams will be formed according to MAHA’s existing regions.

District 8 Tryout Information:
Date: Sunday, April 16
Divisions: 15U
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Lakeview Arena.

Divisions: 11U, 13U, 18U, and Girls
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

The fee for tryouts is now $45.00. An additional fee of $175 will be charged to players who make it on the roster. This fee includes three guaranteed games, one hour of practice time, a team jersey, socks, and admission to the opening ceremony. Athletes that did not make their district’s roster will have the chance to make it on the team at the At-Large tryouts.
