The ninth annual Meijer State Games of Michigan main weekend is less than two months away which means now is the time to start preparing for the three-day, sports filled weekend. As athletes register and train to compete in their sport, here are a few ways you can start to prepare for this summer's Meijer Games.

The Meijer State Games of Michigan welcomes back past volunteers and new ones alike. Volunteers receive a free Meijer State Games of Michigan t-shirt and meals during the Meijer Games. There is also a variety of ways to be a volunteer from checking in athletes to working in the athlete village. There are a ton of ways to be more than just a spectator this summer!
