Coaches
The Meijer State Games of Michigan is in need of volunteer hockey coaches for the 2025 tournament.
Teams will be formed based off of MAHA’s seven existing regions (with modifications made to regions 2, 4, 6, 7, & 8). One at large team tryout will be held once the seven region teams have been formed. An independent evaluation team will host tryouts and draft players to teams. Teams will have 1 head coach, 2 assistant coaches and a general manager. Only the three registered coaches will be allowed on then bench with players.
All coaches must be SafeSport trained and/or have a valid USA Hockey confirmation.
Please note that players will be in their assigned age groups reflected by the 2025/2026 season.

Apparel
Head coaches will be provided with one comp room if attending from over 100 miles away. Additional considerations will be reviewed by the SGOM hockey committee on a case-by-case basis.
Coaches must complete the coaches application by 6/6/25 in order to receive a hotel room and apparel.
