Saturday
8:00 am: Check-in and on-site registration (walk-in registration only if spots available)
9:00 am: Equipment check
9:30 am: Practice ends (3) begin, with scoring rounds to start immediately after practice ends completed (72 arrows total for score)

Sunday
8:00 am: Check-in
9:30 am: Practice ends (3) begin, with scoring rounds to start immediately after practice ends completed (72 arrows total for score)

  • A lunch break of approximately 30 minutes will take place between the first and second target of each day

  • An awards ceremony will take place upon receipt of all score sheets and compilation of scores on Sunday.

FORMAT

2 day, single distance outdoor FITA.

REGISTRATION FEES

Youth Archers (Yeoman-Junior): $40 with advanced registration
Adult divisions: $60 with advanced registration*
*Adult division is part of USA Masters Games
Registration closes June 20th

On-site (walk-in) registration is dependent on space and will be announced after June 20. Entry fees for walk-ins will be $50 for youth divisions and $80 for adults.

There are only 12 spots left for the competition!

* When registering, you can only register one participant at a time.

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

This is not a USA Archery sanctioned event, but archers must complete in one of the age categories as determined by U.S.A. Archery:

Youth Categories
Yeoman: Archers who are currently 8 & under or will turn 9 during the 2021 calendar year
Bowman: Archers will turn 10, 11, or 12 during the 2021 calendar year
Cub: Archers who will turn 13 or 14 during the 2021 calendar year
Cadet: Archers who will turn 15, 16, or 17 during the 2021 calendar year
Junior: Archers who will turn 18, 19, or 20 during the 2021 calendar year

Adult Categories
21-49
50+
60+
70+
Senior
Master 50+
Master 60+
Master 70+
AR-AR3 (disabled categories)

All adults will be competing in the USA Masters Games

Bow types follow USA archery designations: Recurve, Compound, Compound w/Fingers, and Barebow

In order to ensure that the tournament progresses smoothly, we ask that all archers review the link below explaining tournament scoring procedures.  We especially ask youth archery coaches and parents to review this, so that our young archers are familiar with the process prior to the competition. 

Archery Rules

FITA Rules (International)

This event is NOT a STAR-FITA. The event will follow FITA rules for shooting order, times, and equipment, but will NOT require FITA-based dress code requirements (other than requiring close-toed shoes and no inappropriate or offensive printing on clothing, at discretion of tournament director) or membership in USA Archery or the NFAA. Equipment must meet FITA rules, with arrows having a diameter of 9.3mm or less, and bows having draw weights of 60 lbs or less. All rules and regulations will be posted on the web-site listed below prior to the event.

Awards

Meijer State Games of Michigan gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for each age division and bow type for athletes 20 and under

USA Masters Games gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for each age division and bow type for athletes 21+

State Games of America

This event is a qualifying event for the 2022 State Games of America. Any athletes who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd has the opportunity to compete in the 2022 State Games of America hosted in Ames/Des Moines, IA.
