REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR 2020 USA MASTERS GAMES IN GRAND RAPIDS JUNE 19-28, 2020
Athletes 21 and older who want to compete on a national stage without leaving Michigan can now register to participate in the 2020 USA Masters Games (USAMG) coming to Grand Rapids June 19-28, 2020. The initial 10 sports that athletes can register for include basketball, golf, 5K, skeet, small bore rifle, swimming, Taekwondo, track & field, water skiing and synchronized swimming. The other 14 sports will open up for registration over the coming weeks and can be monitored on the website.
Meijer State Games of Michigan Main Weekend Begins Thursday
The 2019 Meijer State Games begins its’ main weekend of events this Thursday, June 20. This year’s games mark the 10-year anniversary of the Meijer State Games. The Summer Games will include over 40 sports being participated in this weekend with an estimated 8,000 participants expected to compete in the 2019 Summer Games.

The Meijer State Games of Michigan kicks off the 2019 summer games with an Opening Ceremony on Friday, June 21. The Opening Ceremony will be held at Fifth Third Ballpark (4500 W. River Dr. NE Comstock Park, MI 49321). Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. and conclude around 9 p.m.
