COVID-19 Updates

Ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19 will affect each event differently. Any updates that occur to this event will be posted to this page. Registered athletes will be contacted about any changes that may occur. 

Update as of 5/27/20: Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, the Meijer State Games has made the decision to reschedule the Bocce Ball event. We are working with our sport directors to find the best alternative date for this event. We ask for your patience as we work through this process.

Update as of 7/20/20: We are still monitoring COVID-19 and working with our Bocce Ball director to find a date that would work within the calendar and venue. We appreciate your patience as we work through this situation.

Once a date has been decided, we will be notifying each registrant via email. We understand that a new date may not work for everyone and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Media/Celebrity Tournament- Thursday June 25 2:00 PM
Challenge Tournament-Friday June 26 4:00 PM
Corporate Tournament-Friday June 26 6:00 PM
Open Tournament-Saturday June 27 9:00 AM

All divisions will have onsite registration
**Online registration for this event closes at 8:00 pm on June 19, 2019

FEES

Media/Celebrity Tournament: Free
Challenge Tournament: Free (2-4 players on a team)
Corporate Challenge Tournament: $50 per team
Open Tournament: $10 per person (2 - 4 players on a team)

To register for media/celebrity, challenge, or open, please select “Individual Event” while registering. For corporate, please choose “Group/Team Event”.

FORMAT

Teams of two to four players per team / Individuals may sign up and teamed with others or if necessary play as single – Each Team has four balls – object is to throw/roll ball to be closest to the Small Ball/Target or Pallino.
