State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Medal winners from 31 State Games nationwide earn the right to compete against other winners and match their skills and competitive desire in a national arena.

Organized and managed by the Meijer State Games, the 2017 State Games of America will take place August 3 - 6 in Grand Rapids, MI.

If you receive a medal in your state's 2015, 2016 or 2017 (prior to July 1, 2017) State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2017 State Games of America. All medalists from the SGA 2014 in Hershey/Harrisburg, PA are also eligible.

RECENTLY ANNOUNCED - Updated 10/14/14:

The Meijer State Games of Michigan will host the 2017 State Games of America in Grand Rapids, MI. The Meijer State Games of Michigan - Summer Games will move its dates to coincide with the proposed State Games of America dates. The 2017 State Games of America are tentatively scheduled for August 2-6.

If you receive a medal in your state's 2015, 2016 or 2017 (prior to July 1, 2017) State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2017 State Games of America. All medalists from the SGA 2015 in Lincoln, NE are also eligible. All Michigan residents are allowed to compete.
