Volunteer Ambassador Adult Ambassador

We are looking for a few great people to represent the Meijer State Games of Michigan!  As an Ambassador, you will be recognized as a marketing representative of the Summer and Winter Games and attend events in your area promoting our event. You will receive marketing materials at your request for specific events you plan on attending and to distribute to friends. Ambassadors will be recognized in the 2014 Parade of Athletes at Opening Ceremonies at the Summer Games.  You will also be recognized on our website.

To be a MSG Ambassador, you must have attended the Meijer State Games at least one time, either as an athlete, parent or coach. We want all of our Ambassadors to be able to speak to others about their experience at the State Games.

The Meijer State Games of Michigan has become the state’s premier multi-sport, Olympic-style event that welcomes athletes regardless of age or ability. While numbers continue to grow in many sports, we know that there are still hundreds of teams and athletes that we have not yet reached. Continuing our mission that started in 2013, we hope that you can help us with this outreach program. Our goal is to increase awareness of the Meijer State Games around the state and continue to grow participation in the State Games each year.

The Meijer State Games embody the values of participation, sportsmanship and healthy living among residents of the state of Michigan. The philosophy of the Meijer State Games is that everyone is welcome and everyone plays!

As a MSG Ambassador, you will receive:
  • Ambassadors will be listed on the “MSG Ambassadors” section of the Meijer State Games website.
  • Ambassadors will be featured in the Summer Games Parade of Athletes.
  • Upon request, we will send you promotional materials (flyers/postcards) to distribute.
  • Ambassadors will have their own MSG staff member contact that will assist you and all of your needs.

MSG Ambassador Responsibilities:
  • Ambassador should help spread the word of the Meijer State Games when attending events in their sport.
  • Ambassador should provide a link to Meijer State Games on their club’s website, Facebook or Twitter pages, if so desired.
  • Ambassador should continue to be an active participant in the Meijer State Games.
  • Ambassador should direct potential athletes/teams to the Meijer State Games website, Facebook and Twitter accounts or provide MSG contact information.

Meet our Ambassadors!

Feel free to contact any of our Meijer State Games Ambassadors for information on promoting and marketing for our event!
